Instructions for oral presentations
Keynote speakers:
The total time allocated for a presentation is 45 minutes including Q&A and time for change over (maximum of 35 min presentation). Please adhere strictly to the 45-minute time limit to ensure fairness to all presenters and maintain the session schedule.
Invited speakers:
The total time allocated for a presentation is 20 minutes including Q&A and time for change over (maximum of 15 min presentation). Please adhere strictly to the 20-minute time limit to ensure fairness to all presenters and maintain the session schedule.
All other speakers:
The total time allocated for a presentation is 15 minutes including Q&A and time for change over (maximum of 12 min presentation). Please adhere strictly to the 15-minute time limit to ensure fairness to all presenters and maintain the session schedule.
Presentations in .ppt format, pptx. format and .pdf format will be accepted. Please note that while there is no specific template, presenters should use a 16:9 aspect ratio to optimize display on the conference screens. If you have created your presentation in Apple .ppt, please test it on a Windows PC to ensure that it displays correctly. Presentation files must be delivered to the Speakers Ready Room no later than one hour before the session.
Please meet your session chairs inside the conference room at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of your oral session.
Instructions for poster presentations
Your poster should be upright/portrait style with DIN A0 format: width: max. 33 inches (84 cm), height: max. 47 inches (119 cm). There is no specific poster template. However, presenters are encouraged to use a clear and concise layout with easily readable fonts and graphics. Please make sure that letters are sufficiently large to be read from a distance of 1 to 2 m.
The on-site attendance time, i.e. the actual time the author is expected to be by their poster for presentation, will be indicated in the final program. Each poster will be standing for 2 full conference days.
If you are interested in printing your poster in Heraklion, we would like to bring to your attention that there is a store that can print A0 posters about 1km away from the Conference venue:

It is strongly advised that the posters are sent no later than on September 3rd. Authors are responsible for collecting their printed posters and placing them on the panels.
You are kindly reminded that posters included in Poster Viewing Slot 1 (beginning with S1_) should be posted on Monday, from 08:30 to 11:00 am, while posters included in Poster Viewing Slot 2 (beginning with S2_) should be posted on Wednesday, from 11:00 to 13:30.
